Before you book · before you come
Everything you need to know
Every Saturday at the Széchenyi Bath, doors at 21:30. The eight things that decide whether your night goes well are first — the detail is underneath.

Getting there and getting in
Where it is
Széchenyi Bath, 1146 Budapest, Állatkerti krt. 9–11, in the middle of City Park.
Take metro line M1 to Széchenyi fürdő — it is a two minute walk. If you take a taxi, use Bolt or an official company with a visible logo, and never an unmarked car.
At the door
Once you are inside
Paying at the bars
The bars do not take bank cards, and they do not take cash directly either. You buy a SpartyPay card and top it up with cash at the top-up points in the lobby and next to the bars. There is an ATM in the building, and two more cash machines on the street opposite the bath.
Drinks come in reusable cups. You pay a deposit of 1,000 HUF per cup and get 350 HUF back for every one you return, up to four per card.
If your ticket came with drink coupons: one coupon is a draught beer, two is a cocktail.
Locker or cabin
A locker is a standard box, 120 × 30 × 65 cm, and one is included with every ticket at no charge. A cabin is a small private changing room of about one square metre, included from Premium Plus upwards.
Lock it properly before you go anywhere near the water, and leave anything you would hate to lose at your accommodation.
In the pools
No jumping and no diving. No climbing on anyone’s shoulders. No smoking in the water — there are designated smoking areas.
Keep your flip-flops on everywhere outside the pool. The stone is wet all night.
Looking after each other
Get out of the hot pools regularly, take a cold shower, and drink from the free water points.
There is a medical team on site and first aid inside the party is free. If anyone looks dizzy, weak or unwell, tell any staff member straight away rather than calling an ambulance yourself.
If you see or experience anything, get in touch with the security staff or the organisers on site.
Photos and video
Take them — and tag @spartybudapest, we repost the good ones. Drones are not allowed and flying one has legal consequences.

Getting home
Download Bolt before you come out
We have partnered with Bolt, so getting back to your accommodation is a couple of taps. Set the app up before you leave — nobody wants to be creating an account in the cold at 2am with wet hands.
The M1 has stopped running by the time Sparty ends. Night buses run on Andrássy út. Do not get into an unmarked taxi.

What you can and cannot bring in
Leave at home: food, drinks, anything glass, sharp objects, markers, drugs, large inflatables, swim boards, flippers, water pistols and diving gear. Sports clothing is not allowed in the pools.
Lost property
Pregnancy, health conditions and contact lenses
If you wear contact lenses, wear glasses instead or bring a spare pair — thermal water and lenses do not get along.
Anyone arriving with an open wound or a contagious skin condition will be refused entry, even with a valid ticket.
